FREE ADMISSION - $10 Suggested Donation

History comes alive at the Virginia Museum of History and Culture as Classical Revolution RVA presents a “classical” connection to Bluegrass, navigating four centuries of musical history.

FREE SNACKS available as The Jefferson Ensemble explores European influences on bluegrass via 17th and 18th century ballads, concert music and folk dances played on historical instruments in VMHC’s “Gottwald Gateway to History.”

The evening continues as guests experience “Fresh Paint,” a new exhibit of murals inspired by the story of Virginia. Amidst the beauty and historic vision of these new murals, RVA’s Grassroots Philharmonic will present its inaugural performance of beloved orchestral and chamber music arranged for bluegrass instruments.
