Featuring Schuyler Slack, cellist in the Richmond Symphony, and Ieva Jokubaviciute, assistant professor of Piano at Shenandoah University. 

Schuyler and Ieva will perform the world premiere of Associate Professor at George Washington University Douglas Boyce’s Stretto Perpetuo , as well as the Beethoven F Major Cello Sonata, Kodály Sonatina, and Brahms E Minor Cello Sonata.

This concert is a celebration of a brand new piece by Douglas Boyce. The commission was made possible by the Allan and Margot Blank Foundation, a Richmond-based trust that promotes the commissioning and performance of contemporary classical music of Virginians, by Virginians, for Virginians.
